NOTE: Applications do not guarantee participation. Invitations are issued once applications are vetted.

The Application Process Step by Step

  1. Fill out application in full and return. DO NOT SEND PAYMENT.
  2. Applications are reviewed by the SWIAF steering committee to determine who will be accepted.
  3. Invitations and contracts are sent on or around October 3, 2011.
  4. Contracts and partial or full booth payments may be made at any time before the December 14, 2011 deadline without penalty. Payment in full must be postmarked on or before the December 14 deadline to avoid late fees.
  5. All contracts and payments must be received from invited artists by February 13, 2012.
  6. Confirmation letters and booth assignments sent out on or about January 16, 2012.

Fees

DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH APPLICATION, ALL ARTISTS MUST BE INVITED BEFORE PAYMENT IS MADE.

* 50% payment can be paid at any time; payment in full must be received by 12/14 to avoid late fee.
**Shared space fee not eligible for partial payment. Please see New Policy Guidelines for details of sharing a booth.

Important Dates

September 16, 2011 2012 SWIAF applications due. (After this date, applications will be accepted on a space-available basis only.)
October 3, 2011 Artist invitations mailed.
December 14, 2011 Payment in full due.
December 15, 2011 Late fee applies.
January 16, 2012 Confirmation letter mailed.
January 30, 2012 Booth assignment posted to this website.

Every year, we ask participating artists for feedback to help us understand how we can better serve them. Based on this past year’s survey results, we have made changes.
