A Free Lecture by Dr. E. Charles Adams
Archaeologist and Curator Emeritus of Archaeology
Arizona State Museum, University of Arizona

This talk consolidates 30 years of archaeological field work to describe how groups from Clovis times to historic Hopi and Zuni visited, exploited, and at times flourished in what appears to be an extreme environment in the central valley of the Little Colorado River near Winslow, Arizona. The talk will highlight and combine Dr. Adams's research at ancestral Hopi villages at Homol'ovi with work done at and around Rock Art Ranch.
