Collecting the American Election--via Zoom
5:00 p.m. Arizona time (8:00 p.m. Eastern)
For curators at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History there is no clearer mandate than the presidential elections every four years to collect and document, to record and preserve the objects that capture the times. Curators from the Political History department of NMAH will discuss the process for collecting artifacts from the presidential campaigns and conventions, and how they had to adapt to this year's unprecedented virtual campaign events.
