Life Along the River: Ancestral Hopi at Homol'ovi
Through artifacts, maps, and the voices of present-day Hopi, visitors will learn about the people who lived in seven villages along the Little Colorado River near Winslow, Arizona in the 1300s. This exhibit highlights and synthesizes 30 years of archaeological fieldwork conducted by the Homol'ovi Research Program, directed by Dr. E. Charles Adams, and shares how collaborative, multidisciplinary research with descendant communities can increase our understanding of the past and enhance the interpretation of archaeological resources.
