Southwest Native Nations Advisory Board

Arizona State Museum's Southwest Native Nations Advisory Board (SWNNAB) was organized in the late 1980s, initially to inform the development of the Paths of Life exhibition, one of the first in the country to involve extensive American Indian consultants.
Today, SWNNAB includes up to two representatives from each of the 22 federally recognized tribes in Arizona and provides advice and feedback to ASM on its state-mandated mission and on the development of exhibits and public programs.
