Neighborhood Fun

Just outside the university's Main Gate at Park Ave and University Blvd, is a two-block area known as Main Gate Square, where you can dine, shop, enjoy free concerts, or simply sit and watch the world.

Catch the Sun Link Modern Streetcar at University Boulevard and Tyndall Avenue. Buy a round-trip ticket to ride to downtown restaurants and shops, and beyond to the streetcar's western terminus at Mercado San Augustin, with its own restaurants, shops, and Thursday afternoon Farmers' Market.
