Drop-in Docent-guided Tours of the Exhibits
Tour ASM's exhibits with a docent guide. These tours are free with museum admission and available to visitors on a first-come-first-served basis. Ask at the admission desk about docent availability. Although aimed toward adults, all ages are welcome. We ask for groups of 8 or fewer.
October 1 through April 30
During our active season, ASM docents are generally on the floor, Monday and Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
May 1 through September 30
ASM docents are generally on the floor, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Pre-arranged Docent-guided Tours of the Exhibits
A minimum two-week advance notice is required to process special requests for groups. Pre-arranged tours are available year-round based on docent availability,** Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pricing (includes museum admission):
$10.00 per person for groups of 9 or fewer
$8.00 per person for senior groups (65+) or groups of 10 or more
$2.00 for ASM members or citizens of Native Nations
Free for University of Arizona Cat Card holders (students, faculty, staff)
Spanish or German-language tours available upon request

- Paths of Life: American Indians of the Southwest: Enjoy highlights from the Seri, Yaqui, Tohono O’odham, Apache, Navajo, and Hopi sections of this ground-breaking exhibition.
- The Pottery Project: Discover the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of Southwest Indian pottery.
- Woven through Time: American Treasures of Native Basketry and Fiber Art: View ancient and contemporary Southwest baskets and fiber arts.
- Museum Orientation Tour: Experience ASM’s permanent and/or temporary exhibits.
