When

All Day, Sept. 4 – 6, 2026

We'll be popping up at Tucson Comic-Con!

Stop by Booth F18 to meet artist/illustrator Tom Farris (Otoe-Missouria/Cherokee), make and take some artwork, participate in the Comic-Con scavenger hunt, and, of course, enjoy the exhibit.

Friday only! Kit-bashing artist Bobby Stills (Lipan Apache/Chicano) will be at the booth, too.

Friday, 4:40-5:30 p.m., Room 202 in the convention center
Panel Discussion: Native Superheroes & the Art of Representation
Indigenous creatives Tom Farris, Bobby Stills, and Pachynne Ignacio will discuss Native American representation in pop culture and share stories of Indigenous superheroes. Tom Farris created Cherokee Superman. Bobby Stills's customized action figures have a gritty urban edge. Pachynne Ignacio's art makes you wonder how one finds identity and likeness in mainstream culture. Join us for a robust discussion!

Great thanks to Desert Diamond Casinos for their financial support of this pop-up exhibit.
